London, 9 October 2021 (TDI): The Government of the United Kingdom has decided to remove the Republic of Sudan from the red list.
The decision came after Sudan’s effective measure to curb the effects of Covid-19. Officially, the Republic of Sudan will be lifted from the United Kingdom travel red list on 11 October 2021.

The travelers traveling from Sudan to the United Kingdom can complete their self-isolation period at their personal residence. Before, they had to spend it at designated quarantine hotels.
The decision of the United Kingdom is appreciated by the government and the people of the Republic of Sudan. Lifting Sudan from the Red List will reduce the expenses of travelers that they had to spend during hotel quarantine.
The United Kingdom also expects the Sudanese government to continue its efforts to eradicate Covid-19 from the republic of Sudan.
