Ashgabat, 24 September 2021 (TDI): The presentation of special editions of magazines dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan and reflecting the achievements of the state took place at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by representatives of the ministries and agencies of the country, Ambassadors and Consuls of Turkmenistan working abroad, rectors, professors, and students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, and representatives of local mass media.

 

The presentation participants viewed brightly illustrated special issues of magazines «Yerli düşünce» and «Istanbul Today» of the Republic of Turkey, «Galkynysh» of the Republic of Austria, «Business Central Asia» of the Republic of India, as well as «The Diplomatic Insight» of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan which were published in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan. Representatives of the scientific intelligentsia of Turkmenistan, editors of Turkmen newspapers, as well as editors of foreign magazines (via video link), made speeches at the presentation.

These publications tell about the successes achieved in all spheres and areas during the years of independence, the far-reaching changes carried in our country under the visionary leadership of the President of Turkmenistan.                           At the same time, brightly illustrated with photographs articles on the social and cultural life of the country and the capital were published. In addition, these issues contain articles on the further strengthening of brotherly and good neighborly relations with the countries of the region, as well as on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation of Turkmenistan with other countries on priority directions.

While speaking on the occasion Asif Noor, Editor in Chief,  The Diplomatic Insight magazine spoke about the strong relationship between Pakistan and Turkmenistan along with the Independence and Neutrality of Turkmenistan. Asif Noor highlighted that Diplomatic Insight is Pakistan’s premier monthly public diplomacy magazine, publishing digitally and in print, for the past 14 years since December 2008.
