Beijing, 13 September 2021 (TDI): After the successful end of the Tokyo Olympics, the Beijing Winter Olympics are about to start. The Winter Olympics 2022, also known as Beijing 2022, is a forthcoming multi-sport international event that is going to take place from February 4 to 20 in Beijing. Beijing 2022 is the first Winter Olympics going to be held in China. Many sports are included in the 2022 Winter Olympics, namely Skating, Luge, Bobsledding, Curling, Ice hockey, skiing, and many more.
To fire up China’s team performance in the Winter Olympic Games, aerospace technologies of China have joined hands with the team. China’s first-ever self-developed sleighs have been rolled out with the assistance of aerospace technologies. Bobsleighing, a crucial sports event of the Winter Olympics, was commanded by the western team. The Chinese team became part of the Winter Olympics Games in 2018 and due to its late entry, the team had to rely on imported sleighs for competitions and it caused a lot of problems and issues.
To solve these issues, China developed its first sleighs with advanced capabilities with the help of aerospace technologies. China is launching its sleighs in the upcoming 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Besides aerospace technologies, many other highly efficient technologies will be used in the next 2022 Winter Olympics.
