Arta, 6 September 2021 (TDI): The 27th Ethio-Djibouti Joint Border Administrators and Commissioners’ meeting began yesterday in Arta, Djibouti.
During the opening session of the meeting, Frealem Shibabaw, FDRE State Minister of Peace, stated that the people of the two countries share a common fate and a single goal. She also sincerely expressed gratitude to the two governments’ smart and wise leaders, emphasizing that the success in establishing a multi-sectoral partnership demonstrated deep strategic collaboration that goes beyond economic ties.
Berhanu Tsegaye, FDRE Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Djibouti, on the other hand, emphasized that holding the conference at this crucial moment reflects the two sister countries’ incredible friendship. He also stated that the meeting was the first in a series of actions aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership in all areas of government, finance, and social activity.
