Tanzanian FM met with Special Assistant to US President

Dodoma, 02 September 2021 (TDI):  Minister of Foreign affairs Tanzania and East African Cooperation Ambassador Liberata Mulamula met with Dana L. Banks, Special Assistant to the President of the United States, and Senior Director at the National Security Council.

The discussion was made about women’s security and rights. Both parties focused on empowering women in business and other sectors. Moreover, Liberata Mulamula talked about the efforts of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania and stated that the President wants to achieve certain goals related to women’s empowerment.

Also, Liberata Mulamula and Dana L. Banks focused on climate change issues and anti-terrorism strategies. Climate change and terrorism is the major threat to African countries due to their poor conditions. For many years, Africa is facing Terrorism. Now, climate change has further affected the region.
