Tanzania to Host 65th UNWTO Commission for Africa Meeting

Praia, 6 September 2021 (TDI): Tanzania is all ready to host the 65th United Nations World Trade Organization Commission for Africa meeting next year.

The Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism of the Republic of Tanzania, Damas Ndumbaro, and members of the delegation from the Republic of Tanzania attended the 64th meeting of the UNWTO African Commission in Cape Verde on 2 September 2021.

At the meeting, Tanzania confirmed its candidacy for the 65th session of the Committee. It is affirmed that the meeting will be attended by tourism ministers from 54 African countries and other potential industry stakeholders, including renowned global tourism investors. The meeting is also expected to foster Tanzania’s tourism and its touristic attractions.
