Tashkent, 31 August 2021 (TDI): A telephonic conversation was held between Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan.
Tajik President warmly congratulated his Uzbek counterpart on 30th Independence Day of Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan celebrates its Independence Day on September 1st, marking the country’s independence from the Soviet Union. Moreover, both parties committed to continue supporting one another’s leadership and people. They also wished each other a peaceful future in terms of freedom, security, and growing prosperity.
