Spokesperson MOFA appreciates PIA

Islamabad, 31 August 2021 (TDI): Asim Iftikhar, Spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, praised Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) for its humanitarian assistance in delivering medicines and supplies from the World Health Organization (WHO) to Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan.

Ahmed Al-Mandhari, Regional Director of World Health Organization, also recognized the efforts of Pakistan and thanked its government and PIA for their efforts to support WHO and the people of Afghanistan.

These efforts from Pakistan are in line with building the “Humanitarian Air Bridge” for delivering essential supplies from international agencies.
