Slovak Ambassador to UN meets his American counterpart virtually

New York, 11 October 2021 (TDI): Michal Mlynar, the Ambassador of Slovakia to the United Nations met with Linda Thomas Greenfield, the American Ambassador to the United Nations. The two counterparts debated on global issues.

The Slovak Ambassador to the UN expressed his gratitude for his discussion with the American Ambassador to the UN. Their discussion was based on the United Nations agenda as well as on bilateral relations.

 

They discussed the security challenges of the world. The two countries also debated on the recent developments in Africa, Afghanistan, and Belarus. They underlined the UN agenda of Peacebuilding during their discussion to create peace in the conflict-oriented regions of the world.

Furthermore, the two ambassadors also emphasized enhancing cooperation to strengthen bilateral relations. The two countries enjoy close relations. Slovakia and America has strong diplomatic ties since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1993. The two allies also are partners and cooperate in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). They share also mutual agenda of promoting freedom and human rights in the world.
