Singapore, 17 November 2021 (TDI): Singapore and Indonesia welcomed the opening of Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) from November 29. Singapore will also open Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) applications; from 22 November.
Under the mechanism of VTL, Singapore will introduce the lane with Finland, Malaysia and Sweden as well. In a latter stage, VTLs will be available for Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The launch will implement from 6 December 2021.
Vaccinated Travel Lane is a procedure which will allow quarantine-free travel to Singapore.
Meeting between Foreign Ministers
Singapore’s Foreign Minister, Vivian Balakrishnan met with his counterpart from Indonesia, Menteri Luar NeÄ£eri. In a tweet, Singapore’s Foreign Minister stated that he was looking forward to meeting the Foreign Minister of Indonesia.

Moreover, the duo welcomed the opening of Vaccinated Travel Lane between the two countries. They also discussed expansion of VTL across the world. While, Indonesian Foreign Minister said the partners will continue cooperation in bilateral VTL.
