# Secretary Blinken’s Meeting with Israeli Minister Dermer

**Washington D.C (TDI):** Secretary of State [Antony J. Blinken](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antony_Blinken) convened yesterday with Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer. The Secretary emphasized the necessity of repatriating all captives and concluding the conflict in Gaza.

The Secretary and Minister continued their discussions on establishing a strategy for the post-conflict period that ensures governance, security, and reconstruction, which the Secretary underscored as essential for Israel’s security.
