Islamabad (TDI): Romania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Toiu, expressed her deep sorrow over the suicide explosion that took place outside the district courts in Islamabad on Tuesday.
In a tweet, Toiu conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the attack.
She further stated that her thoughts and solidarity are with the people of Pakistan as the nation grapples with this tragic incident.
“I am deeply saddened by the explosion outside the district courts in Islamabad yesterday. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families and friends of those who lost their lives and I wish a swift recovery to all the injured. My thoughts and solidarity are with the people of Pakistan as they face this heartbreaking tragedy,” she said.
The blast, which claimed 12 lives and left 36 people wounded, has drawn international attention and condemnation, highlighting ongoing concerns over security in the capital.
Authorities have vowed to intensify counterterrorism measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
Global leaders and diplomats have increasingly voiced support for Pakistan in the wake of these attacks, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in combating terrorism and ensuring regional stability.
