Kazan, (TDI): President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met in Kazan, Russia, during the BRICS Summit.
According to President Xi, China and India, ancient civilizations, large emerging countries, and essential Global South members are at a critical juncture in their modernization processes.
President Xi Jinping further stated that it is essentially in the best interests of the two countries and two peoples to continue the historical trend and appropriate trajectory of bilateral relations.
In addition, he further noted that the two countries must also meet their international commitments, set an example for strengthening the strength and unity of developing nations.
“China-India relations are a question of how the two big developing countries and neighbors, each with a population of 1.4 billion, treat each other,” stated President Xi.

President Xi further commented that Key agreements between China and India, such as the fact that they are partners in cooperation rather than adversaries and offer economic prospects rather than threats, should be maintained.
President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi decided that both sides should continue to see each other strategically favorable and develop together.
Prime Minister Modi underscored the necessity of maintaining the steady advancement of India-China relations to benefit both countries and their citizens.
Modi said that in a challenging international landscape, cooperation between India and China, two ancient civilizations and drivers of economic advancement, can promote economic recovery and encourage global multi-polarity.
Prime Minister Modi emphasized that India is poised to enhance strategic communication, increase mutual trust, and expand collaborative efforts with China.
He also noted that; It will offer extensive assistance for China’s presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and improve communication and cooperation with China within BRICS.
In addition, the two presidents commended the substantial progress made by both parties through comprehensive discussions on relevant border problems.
Prime Minister Modi offered improvements to the bilateral partnership, which President Xi provisionally endorsed.
The parties agreed to effectively employ the Special Representatives mechanism for the China-India boundary dispute, uphold peace and tranquility in the border areas, and pursue a fair and just resolution.
Furthermore, the two parties agreed to negotiate with their foreign ministries and officials at all levels to restore the relationship to stable and vigorous development.

The participants agreed to improve communication and collaboration on multilateral forums to safeguard the common interests of developing nations.
