Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif informed cabinet members on Monday about the outcomes of his recent visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, describing them as “successful and productive.”
During the cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted the fruitful consultations he held with the leadership of both nations, covering various topics including solar energy, mining, minerals, and information technology.
He announced that a delegation from the Qatar Investment Authority is expected to visit Pakistan soon, following Qatar’s commitment to invest $3 billion in the country.

The Prime Minister noted that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed interest in Pakistan’s skilled workforce, suggesting that Pakistan should send trained IT professionals to meet the Kingdom’s needs.
Additionally, the Amir of Qatar indicated plans to establish an IT park in Pakistan, further enhancing bilateral cooperation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz also mentioned that Pakistan and Azerbaijan have agreed to increase bilateral investments to $2 billion across multiple sectors.
This understanding was solidified during the visit of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, resulting in the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs).
