Palestine Moves Resolution in UNGA on Occupied Territory

ISLAMABAD, September 9,2024 (TDI): On Monday, the Palestinian delegation at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) submitted resolution to UNGA urging to stop Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian territories.

They also ask the 79th UNGA to vote for summoning a special committee that would review Israeli violations, and for calling an international conference to ensure the execution of of UN resolutions on Palestinian issues.

Due to the vote in May, from tomorrow the delegation will get more privileges in line with the effective acknowledgement of a Palestinian state but still will not have a vote.

Palestinian Resolution 

Official said that over 630,000 students in Gaza will not go to school on Monday as Israel’s war on the Palestinian enclave created severe hardship for the students to go to school for a second year.

Hamas official denied US media reports about the fresh conditions as part of ceasefire talks.

Israeli attacks have caused mobile phone and internet suspension in central and southern Gaza, said service provider Paltel.

As many as  40,972 people have been killed and 94,761 injured  in Israel’s attacks on Gaza.

In Israel, the number of those killed in the Hamas-led attacks on October 7 is 1,139, and another over 200 people were taken into custody.
