# Pakistan’s Minister of State meets USIP Delegation

Washington DC, 27 September 2022 (TDI): Pakistan’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar met with the delegation of the US Institute of Peace (USIP) on Monday. Vice President of Asia Program Andrew Wilders headed the delegation of USIP.

During the meeting, Pakistan’s Minister of State discussed the broad-based engagement between Pakistan and the United States and its prospects. The two sides agreed to continue coordination for ensuring peace and stability in the region and particularly in Afghanistan.

##### Meeting with MSF Delegation**

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also met the delegation of Doctors Without Borders (Medicines San Frontier). General Director Vickie Hawken led the delegation of MSF. In addition, Minister of State Hina Rabbani Khar and Pakistani Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan were also present at the meeting.

Doctors Without Borders (Medicines San Frontier) is a multinational medical organization that provides medical services all around the world. During the meeting, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari praised Doctors Without Borders (MSF) for its work in delivering health care to flood-affected Pakistanis.

He stated that MSF is taking a proactive approach to provide health care to those impacted by the recent floods in Pakistan. General Director Vickie Hawken also spoke on the occasion. She expressed sincere grief and remorse for the damage inflicted by the floods in Pakistan.
