Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) celebrations at the High-Commission and Chancery mosque.

Delhi, 20 October 2021 (TDI):On Tuesday 19, according to a statement by the High Commission of Pakistan to India, Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) was celebrated at New Delhi’s High Commission on the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal (third month of Islamic calendar which is the month of birth of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad, Peace be upon him).

Pakistan High Commission in Delhi arranged Mehfil-e-Milad at the High Commission mosque.

In honor of this holy occasion, the Chancery Mosque and High Commission Building were lit at night.

Officers and staff of the embassy attended Mehfil-e-Milad at the Chancery mosque. Naat  and recitation of Quran competitions were held.

The Chargé d’affaires appreciated the children for their participation and distributed prizes among them. They prayed for peace and prosperity in the country and all over the world.

The High Commission wishes Muslims from all parts of the world a very Happy Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW). he expressed this day is celebrated to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him ), whose life and teachings serve as a beacon for the world and all humanity.
