Pakistan’s Ambassador Discusses Media Cooperation in China

Beijing, 7 September 2024: Pakistan’s Ambassador to China and Mongolia, Khalil Hashmi, held a series of meetings on Friday aimed at strengthening Pakistan-China ties across multiple sectors, including media and space exploration.

Hashmi met with a group of Pakistani media professionals led by Saeed Sarbazi, Chairman of the Karachi Press Club, and representatives from China Economic Net.

The discussions focused on the media’s role in enhancing bilateral relations between Pakistan and China.

In a separate meeting, Ambassador Hashmi met Wu Yanhua, Chief Designer of China’s Major Projects of Deep Space Exploration, to discuss ways to further strengthen space cooperation between the two countries.

“Exchanged views on further strengthening our space cooperation, noted with satisfaction existing momentum, including the launch of Chang’e 6,” Hashmi noted on his social media account.

Additionally, Hashmi met with the Executive Vice Governor of Anhui Province and later attended the Second International Deep Space Exploration Conference in Huangshan City to listen to insights and share perspectives on deep space exploration initiatives.
