They discussed a variety of subjects for cooperation, especially in the commerce, cultural, and educational spheres. The News Agency of Belarus also covered this meeting.
There is a lot of room for cooperation with Pakistan in Grodno Oblast. Important strategic alliances exist between Sindh Province and Karachi, Pakistan’s economic hub. Grodno Oblast and the city of Karachi inked a cooperative agreement in 2015.
The two sides discussed extending the pact and starting up communication in many spheres, including the economy, commerce, culture, and education.
Sajjad Haider Khan said that Pakistan would make every effort to establish areas of mutual interest when the agreement continues. When the agreement resumes, both countries will see the gaps to fill in and the areas which need to be explored.
Vladimir Karanik claims that the expansion of Belarus’s collaboration with Pakistan is consistent with the country’s policy of diversifying its exports and expanding its partnerships abroad.
More than 200 million people call Pakistan home. Pakistan’s agriculture is well developed, making it possible to set up partnerships for the supply of engineering and processing goods.
For instance, Bellakt’s infant food has demonstrated itself in Pakistan, and supply can be increased. Pakistan also needs other processed Belarusian goods, according to the governor.
Discussion on Culture
The parties also talked about cross-cultural interactions. Humanitarian connections, in Vladimir Karanik’s opinion, encourage social engagement, lay the groundwork for inter-humanitarian friendship, and advance progress in all spheres.
Sajjad Haider Khan responded by stating that he went to the festival of national cultures in Grodno in June. Further, he added that this year, there were no Pakistani delegates at the festival, but he vowed that Pakistan would participate the following year.
Additionally, the cultural sector has tremendous potential, and they talked about the potential for arranging collaborative cultural events and exhibitions in Belarus.
