Baku, 18 May 2023 (TDI): Zahid Akram Durrani, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, represented Pakistan in a special Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan session to commemorate National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s centennial anniversary.

Meeting Of Deputy Speaker with the Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis
Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani met with Adil Abish Oglu Aliyev, the Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis for Azerbaijan, during his official visit to Azerbaijan to discuss and enhance the Pak-Azerbaijan friendship.
He expressed gratitude to Adil Aliyev for participating in the International Constitutional Convention organized by the National Assembly of Pakistan as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the 1973 Constitution.
During the meeting, Durrani underlined the value of parliamentary-to-parliamentary connections to increase trade and business prospects between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. He also emphasized Azerbaijan’s fortunate position as a central Asian country with access to deep-sea routes, which provides the potential to expand its international trade.
