Hamilton, 18 September 2021 (TDI): On Friday, Pakistan High Commission Canada expressed solidarity towards the Pakistan-origin family affected by the Hamilton kidnapping and murder. Consul General of Pakistan Toronto visited Hamilton on behalf of the Pakistan High Commission Canada to condole the relatives of the deceased and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
According to the Hamilton Police, an early-morning kidnapping of a man named Faqir Ali during a violent home invasion led to the death of one of his sons and another being shot. Later, Faqir Ali was found on Beach Boulevard near the Burlington Lift Bridge around 9 am ET, Thursday, with life-threatening injuries. The incident marks the third shooting Hamilton has seen in the past week.
