# Pakistan Food Exports Record a Huge Jump Hit $2.36bln

**Islamabad (TDI): **Pakistan’s food exports surged 22% to $2.36 billion in the first four months of the fiscal year.

Strong performances in rice, sugar, and vegetable exports drove this growth, with rice exports exceeding $1 billion and sugar exports jumping 413% bringing in over $108 million.

Despite some declines, the overall growth reflects rising global demand for Pakistani products.

The declines was recorded in some areas like fish and dry fruits, however the overall growth remained encouraging.
