Pakistan Commits to Safeguard Children’s Rights  

Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the rights, well-being, and development of our children.

In a massage on World Children’s Day, being observe today , the prime minister urged parents, educators, civil society, and policymakers to work together to create a society where every child felt loved, valued, and safe.

The PM said the day serves as a reminder of their collective responsibility to protect and fulfill the rights of every child, without discrimination and ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to quality education, healthcare, and a safe, nurturing environment.

He stressed that it is our duty to provide them with facilities and opportunities they need to achieve their full potential and contribute positively to the society.

Various government and non-governmental organizations and associations will hold different ceremonies highlighting unique needs of children and work towards protecting their rights.

Internationally, Pakistan has committed to protect human rights and children rights.
