# Pakistan Army Mi-17 Helicopter  Goes Down Near Muzaffarabad, No Survivors

**Rawalpindi (TDI):** A Pakistan Army Mi-17 helicopter crashed near Muzaffarabad on Wednesday during take-off due to a technical fault, leaving all personnel on board dead, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The military’s media wing confirmed that rescue and recovery teams reached the crash site shortly after the incident, but there were no survivors. It stated that all individuals aboard the aircraft embraced martyrdom.

ISPR added that a board of inquiry has been set up to determine the exact cause of the technical failure behind the crash.

Chief of Defense Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, along with other senior military officials, expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extended condolences to the families of the deceased.
