# Pakistan Displays Tourism Potential at ITB Berlin 2026 with Unified National Pavilion

**Berlin (TDI):** Pakistan has marked a strong and coordinated presence at Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin, the world’s leading travel trade exhibition, currently underway in Germany, happening from March 3–5. The country’s vibrant presence reflects its expanding tourism diplomacy and footprint in the European travel market.

Organized by the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) under the umbrella of the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC), Pakistan’s presence at the prestigious global forum brings together provincial tourism departments from Punjab, Sindh and Gilgit-Baltistan, alongside 16 leading private sector tour operators and hospitality companies.

The unified platform reflects robust federal–provincial coordination and an effective public–private partnership aimed at promoting Pakistan as a dynamic and emerging travel destination.

The Pakistan Pavilion was formally inaugurated by senior Pakistani officials and attended by Saqlain Syedah, Ambassador of Pakistan to Germany.

The pavilion is showcasing Pakistan’s diverse tourism offerings, ranging from mountain and adventure tourism in the north to rich cultural and heritage experiences rooted in ancient civilizations.

Speaking at the inauguration, Ambassador Syedah emphasized that Pakistan offers “a remarkable combination of natural beauty, ancient civilizations, and vibrant culture.”

She noted that participation at ITB Berlin 2026 demonstrates Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening tourism partnerships and fostering people-to-people connections between Pakistan, Germany, and Europe at large.

Managing Director PTDC, Aftab-ur-Rehman Rana, described the country’s participation as a coordinated national effort to enhance Pakistan’s soft image globally.

He highlighted that through close collaboration with provincial authorities and private stakeholders, Pakistan is positioning itself as a safe, welcoming, and high-potential destination for international travelers and investors.

During the three-day exhibition, the Pakistani delegation is actively engaged in business-to-business meetings, networking sessions, and strategic discussions with international tour operators, investors, media representatives, and travel associations.
