# Pakistan to Showcase Mineral Potential at Riyadh Forum

**Islamabad (TDI):** Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister, Ali Pervaiz Malik, in a meeting with the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, discussed matters of mutual interest and avenues for cooperation in minerals and energy.

The Minister informed Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy that Pakistan will actively participate in the upcoming *Future Minerals Forum (FMF)*, scheduled to be held in Riyadh later this month.

Pakistan will establish a dedicated pavilion titled “Pakistan – The Mineral Marvel,” to showcase the potential and promise of its geological landscape to the global mineral community, the Minister added.

The Pakistani delegation, led by the Minister himself, will include thirteen state-owned and private sector mineral companies. A 90-minute Country Showcase Session –* Unleashing Potential: Accelerating Pakistan’s Mineral Revolution* – will feature the Minister, CEOs of participating companies, representatives of foreign investors, and international subject-matter experts.

The Pavilion will also serve as a prelude to the Pakistan Mineral Investment Forum (PMIF) 2026, scheduled to be held in April in Islamabad, and will help attract international participation for the upcoming forum; the Minister told the Saudi Ambassador.

Al-Malkiy welcomed Pakistan’s participation in the upcoming Forum, and noted that Pakistan and the Kingdom have always stood by each other.

“The Ambassador emphasized that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan possess significant potential for cooperation in the minerals and energy sectors and expressed confidence that the Future Minerals Forum would serve as an effective platform to explore and expand avenues of collaboration between the two countries,” a handout by the Ministry read.

Both dignitaries agreed that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are rooted in “shared religious, cultural, and strong people-to-people ties.”
