# Pakistan to Participate in Eurasia Higher Education Summit 2026

**Islamabad (TDI): **A 42-member Pakistani academic delegation is set to participate in the Eurasia Higher Education Summit (EURIE) 2026, taking place from April 7–9 in Istanbul.

The summit, a major global platform for higher education collaboration, will bring together universities, policymakers, and academic leaders from around the world.

A key highlight of Pakistan’s participation will be the establishment of a dedicated Pakistan Pavilion, designed to showcase the country’s growing higher education sector, research capabilities, and innovation ecosystem.

The pavilion will serve as a dynamic hub for promoting Pakistani universities, fostering academic partnerships, and strengthening ties with leading international institutions.

The delegation will be led by Chaudhry Abdul Rehman and includes representatives from a wide range of prominent universities across the country.

Institutions participating in the Pakistan Pavilion include Superior University, University of Lahore, University of Faisalabad, University of Sialkot, Lahore Leads University, Iqra University, Riphah International University, Preston University, City University, CECOS University, Institute of Business Management (IoBM), and GIFT University.

In addition to academic institutions, key organizations such as COMSTECH and the Sindh Higher Education Commission will also be represented. Delegates from Bahria University and University of South Asia are expected to contribute to policy discussions, networking sessions, and collaborative initiatives.

Beyond their presence at the summit, the Pakistani delegation has scheduled visits to leading universities across Türkiye. These engagements will include academic meetings, discussions on joint research opportunities, and the signing of memorandums of understanding (MoUs).

The delegation will also attend special receptions hosted by the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP) and EURIE organizers.

The initiative reflects Pakistan’s strategic push to expand its global academic footprint. By engaging with international stakeholders, the delegation aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in higher education, research, student exchange, and innovation.

Participation in EURIE 2026 underscores Pakistan’s commitment to positioning itself as an emerging hub in the global academic community.
