Pak CG Lauds PID’s 200,000 Membership Milestone

Ajman (TDI): Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai Hussain Muhammad has congratulated the social media platform-turned-community hub, Pakistanis in Dubai (PID), on reaching the landmark of 200,000 members.

Speaking as the chief guest at the PID Business Summit in Ajman, the consul general commended the platform for its efforts in uniting the Pakistani diaspora in the United Arab Emirates.

The event brought together community members, business leaders, and entrepreneurs.

Hussain Muhammad praised PID’s administrators for their dedication and proposed the creation of a comprehensive database of the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE to strengthen collaboration and engagement.

Acknowledging the significant contributions of Pakistanis to the UAE’s economy, culture, and social landscape, he highlighted recent initiatives such as the formation of the Pakistan Business Council in Sharjah, which aims to promote economic growth and bilateral cooperation.

Expressing gratitude to the UAE’s leadership for their support, he remarked, “It is our collective responsibility to contribute meaningfully to the UAE’s development while strengthening ties between our nations.”

The consul general urged the community to continue working collectively to uplift one another and enhance Pakistan’s global image.
