Pakistan’s Air Space Will Remain Closed for 24 Hours, Till Sunday Noon

Islamabad (TDI): As Pakistan launched the retaliatory Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos early morning today, the Civil Aviation Authority closed the air space till noon but now as the operation progresses, it has been announced the airspace will remain closed till Sunday noon.

Meanwhile in India, thirty two airports in north and west are temporarily closed as these regions experience prolonged black outs, in the face of Pakistan’s retaliatory attacks.

Pakistan has launched a full military offensive in retaliation to India’s non-stop aggression since May 7, Wednesday’s missile attacks inside Pakistan.

This was followed by Indian drones hovering over Pakistan the next day; 77 of which has been shot down by Pakistan so far.

In the early hours of Saturday, Pakistan launched Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos (Wall of Lead) after India targeted three Pakistani air bases by air to surface missiles; attacks that were successfully thwarted.

At 3:30 am on Saturday, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt. General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, informed the public that India had attacked Pakistan Air Force’s bases of Nur Khan (Chaklala, Rawalpindi), Murid (Chakwal) and Rafiqui (Shorkot in Jhang district).

He further added that all assets of the Air Force are safe, and no casualties took place. Pakistan’s retaliatory operation has targeted military targets inside India, including an airfield in Pathankot, an airbase in Udhampur and a Brahmos missiles’ storage sites in Beas, Indian Punjab.
