Washington D.C., 2 August 2021 (TDI): On Monday, the US Department of State announced a P2 priority status granting (USRAP) US Refugee Admissions Program to provide immunity to certain Afghan citizens, particularly those who have worked with the United States, USG-funded programs, US-based NGOs, and their eligible family members.
The opportunity provided is a part of the US Enduring Friendship program through which the USA aims to protect individuals who were affiliated with the USA over the last 2 decades. In the light of the recent flare-up of terror events in Afghanistan, the USA has decided to offer an opportunity for refugee settlement to America. This opportunity will let the Afghan nationals and their families live permanently in the USA if they are eligible for the P2 Program.
