Oman’s Ambassador meets the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Pakistani Armed Forces

Islamabad, 28 September 2021 (TDI): The Ambassador of Oman and head of the mission in Pakistan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Omar bin Ahmed Al Marhoon met with Lieutenant-General Nadim Raza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Pakistani Armed Forces.

Oman and Pakistan enjoy cooperative and warm relations augmented by the maritime boundary shared by the two countries. The countries militarily cooperate with one another and participate in the joint exercises. Both the countries are strategic partners and have strong bilateral relations focused on security and defense ties along with economic collaboration.

The military attache at the embassy of Oman, Colonel Matar bin Salem bin Hamad Al Yaqoubi also accompanied the Ambassador to attend the meeting.
