New Zealand anticipates working with Singapore

Wellington, 20 October 2021 (TDI): According to a statement issued by the Foreign Minister of New Zealand, Nanaia Mahuta, her country is looking ahead to collaborate with Singapore for mutual goals across the region.

She held a virtual meeting with her Singapore counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan. The meeting deliberated upon an array of regional aspects. Covid-19 pandemic and APEC also came under discussion.

New Zealand’s Foreign Minister took to twitter after the meeting concluded. She expressed her satisfaction regarding the meeting, in a tweet.

In response, Singapore’s Foreign Minister assured New Zealand of its Chairmanship in APEC. The two counterparts reaffirmed collaboration for strong bilateral and mutually beneficial ties between the Pacific countries.
