Lithuania Expressed Condolences for the Victims of Oslo Attack

Oslo, 14 October 2021 (TDI): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania expressed their deep sorrow on the Kongsberg attack.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania remarked that the news came as a shock for them. The Foreign Ministry also said that their prayers and good wishes are with the victims of the attack.

A 37 years old Danish man armed with Bow and Arrow killed five people in a small town in Norway, Kongsberg. The attack also left two people injured who are currently under admitted in ICU.

According to the Norwegian Police, all the victims are between 50 to 70 years of age. They also reported that as per current evidence the police believe that he alone carried out the act and used Bow and Arrow for killing.

This is the second deadliest attack in Norway since 2011 when a far-right extremist Anders Breivik killed 77 teenagers.

The Prime Minister of Norway Erna Solberg also expressed her concerns regarding the attack and called it horrific.
