# Korea, Pakistan Seek Cooperation in Emerging Technologies

**Islamabad (TDI):** Park Jae-lark, Chargé d’Affaires of Korea in Pakistan, called on the Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja. The meeting focused on bilateral cooperation in technology, human resource development, and industry-academia linkages.

The Federal Minister highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to building a globally competitive workforce through high-quality training programs.

“We are investing in skill development to ensure our youth are equipped to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving digital world,” she said.

She also emphasized on strategic collaboration with Korean institutions to foster innovation and strengthen technical education in Pakistan.

Chargé d’Affaires Park appreciated the Minister’s vision and welcomed the idea of closer collaboration in emerging technologies, research, and capacity-building.

Both dignitaries agreed to explore concrete avenues for partnership to support mutual economic growth and technological advancement.
