London (TDI): Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif filed a report with the London Police on Thursday following an incident of harassment and threats of murder that occurred earlier this week.
The minister arrived at the Pakistan High Commission in London and informed the authorities about the threats he received during a train journey.
Khwaja Asif detailed that he had been verbally abused, filmed without consent, and threatened with a knife by a group of three to four individuals aboard the Elizabeth Line on November 11, 2024, around 3:30 PM.
The minister, who is in London on a private visit with a relative, said he was traveling to Reading at the time.

Khwaja Asif emphasized that he did not recognize the individuals involved in the incident.
The London Transport Police is currently investigating the matter, with the defence minister urging them to review CCTV footage to identify the culprits.

Khwaja Asif condemned the incident, describing it as not only despicable but also a matter of concern for the 1.7 million British-Pakistani citizens living in the UK.
