Nur sultan, 20 October 2021 (TDI): Kazakh President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Executive Director of the “Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia” Secretariat, Kairat Sarybay.
During the meeting, the President received information on the results of the first year of Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in CICA. Special attention was paid to the ongoing work on the institutional development of the forum. Director informed about the progress to transform the Forum of CICA Think Tanks into a permanent consultative platform.
Moreover, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is informed about the events that were held within the framework of the CICA. They aimed at strengthening cooperation in the Asian continent. Also, spoke about the main results of the recently held meeting of the Heads of the Foreign Ministries of the Conference.
However, shared plans for preparing for the upcoming 6th CICA Summit in Nur-Sultan in 2022. The President of Kazakhstan focused on the importance of high-quality preparation for the upcoming summit meeting.
