Recalling India’s illegal actions of August 2019 by annexing the disputed territory, the speakers enumerated the episode’s alarming impact on regional and global peace. They also called on the United Nations to exhibit solidarity with the people of IIOJK and stop Indian atrocities in the disputed territory.

Earlier on October 27, Pakistan’s Embassy in the US commemorated Kashmir Black Day featuring the dispute’s historical perspective. The event was attended by participants from diverse backgrounds who conveyed their unwavering support to the Kashmiri population in their struggle for freedom.
