Jordan King met with Egyptian President in Cairo

Cairo, 2 September 2021(TDI):  On Thursday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Jordan’s King Abdullah II in Cairo.

According to Egyptian Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Radi, King Abdullah expressed Jordan’s willingness to benefit from Egyptian development efforts through experience and knowledge exchange, as well as joint investments, in light of Egypt’s comprehensive and precise development path and mega national initiatives. In the meeting, Egypt’s President praised both countries’ strong brotherly relations, which have advanced to a new level. President Sisi also reiterated Egypt’s desire to strengthen these ties in a way that benefits both countries and communities.

The two leaders also advocated for increased bilateral multisector cooperation between relevant bodies in both countries, as well as efforts to address the situation in Lebanon and the coronavirus pandemic.
