# Israeli Army Orders Evacuations in 3 Lebanese Towns Despite Ceasefire

**Beirut (TDI):** The Israeli military has issued urgent evacuation warnings for residents of three towns in southern Lebanon, Arnaya (also known as Arnaba), Anqoun, and Kfar Fila, despite a renewed ceasefire.

Residents were instructed to leave their homes immediately and move at least 1,000 meters away into open areas. The warning comes amid ongoing tensions and continued cross-border strikes, even as diplomatic efforts continue to stabilize the situation. The United States had extended the ceasefire framework until early July.

Despite the truce, Israeli strikes on Friday reportedly killed four people and injured at least 14 others across southern Lebanon, according to figures compiled from Lebanon’s state news agency.

In the Nabatieh region, one person was killed when a strike hit a building near a police station in Doueir, while three others were killed in a separate strike in the same town. Additional attacks targeted nearby areas, including Habboush and Abba, with drone strikes and shelling reported across multiple villages.

In Tyre, at least 12 people were injured after a strike near Jabal Amel Hospital destroyed a building belonging to a bank, prompting emergency medical response efforts.

The escalation took place despite continued international efforts to preserve the ceasefire and prevent a broader collapse of the agreement.

Meanwhile, Israeli media reports suggested that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a security cabinet meeting that no formal ceasefire implementation has yet been approved. He reportedly said that Israel would only proceed if Hezbollah also agreed to the terms.

Separately, the Israeli military claimed it killed a Hezbollah commander, Abdul Harb, in a strike last week, accusing him of involvement in explosives operations targeting Israeli forces. Hezbollah has not confirmed the claim. The Israeli army also said it destroyed a rocket launcher allegedly used in attacks against its troops in southern Lebanon.
