# Iran Strikes Israeli, US Targets as Conflict Escalates Across Region

**Tehran (TDI):** Iran’s military has announced that it carried out strikes against Israeli targets as well as a United States military base in Qatar, marking the fourth consecutive day of escalating conflict.

In a statement, the army said that combat drones from its ground, air, and naval forces targeted “military sites of the Zionist regime in the occupied territories” along with American forces stationed at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military confirmed it had conducted air raids in Tehran, striking what it described as key leadership facilities. According to an official statement, the Israeli Air Force targeted parts of the Iranian presidential compound, including the presidential office and the Supreme National Security Council building. The military said multiple munitions were dropped during the overnight operation.

Flight disruptions continue to spread across the region. Flightradar24 reported that although a limited number of repatriation flights have departed from the UAE, most flights remain grounded.

Iranian media outlet Tasnim News Agency released video footage purportedly showing missile strikes on a US military base in Bahrain in recent hours.

The Iranian Red Crescent stated that the death toll has risen sharply since the United States and Israel began their strikes. According to field reports cited on its website, at least 787 people have been killed nationwide. The organization added that since Saturday, more than 1,000 attacks have struck 153 cities and over 500 locations across Iran.

France has also acknowledged being affected by the regional escalation. Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said French Rafale fighter jets carried out operations to secure the airspace over French bases in the UAE, where hundreds of French military personnel are stationed. He confirmed that a hangar at a French base in the UAE was hit by a drone on Sunday.

Barrot noted that discussions are ongoing regarding how the UAE can strengthen its defenses and how France can safeguard its personnel and assets in the region. He also clarified that France’s aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle remains in the North Atlantic as part of a previously scheduled multinational exercise and has not altered its course.

Air travel across the Middle East has been severely disrupted. More than 12,300 flights have been cancelled across seven major airports, including Dubai International, Al Maktoum International, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
