Almaty (TDI): The German firm Linding Group is set to invest about $10 million in an airplane assembly facility in Almaty, pending the necessary approvals from the Kazakh government.
The plant will be located in the special economic zone “PIT ‘Alatau,” with production scheduled to commence in 2026.
In its first year, the facility aims to assemble 20 aircraft, with plans to scale up to 50 units annually in subsequent years.
Kazakhstan has been actively pursuing joint ventures with international firms to bolster its aviation industry.
