Foreign Dignitaries congratulated on Pakistan’s Winning Streak

Abu Dhabi, 3 November 2021 (TDI): It seems that Pakistan’s Cricket team is on a winning streak. Pakistan’s team aka ‘Men in Green’, bagged a victory against Namibia on Tuesday. This is the fourth win in a row, proving that Lady Luck is pleased with the Green Shirts. in this latest victory, Pakistan beat Namibia by 45 runs to qualify for the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup.

With the victory against Namibia, congratulatory messages poured in from Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Foreign Diplomats, Ambassadors, and the Cricket Community. Previously, the foreign dignitaries came forward to celebrate Pakistan’s back-to-back wins against India, New Zealand, and Afghanistan, simultaneously.

Representatives from many countries and organizations, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Azerbaijan, NATO, and Norway, felicitated Pakistan on the victory.

Khazar Farhadov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan took to Twitter to congratulate on the spectacular win.

Mustafa Yurdakul the Turkish Ambassador in İslamabad joined the celebration by posting a congratulatory message on Twitter. In his tweet, he expressed his wish for the Shaheens to win the World Cup.

Pakistan gave an extraordinary performance in the match against Namibia, despite the pitch being tricky. Mohammad Rizwan won the Man of the Match award for his magnificent performance.

Kjell-Gunnar Eriksen, Special Representative for Afghanistan and former Ambassador of Norway to Pakistan followed suit to congratulate Pakistan’s victory through his Twitter handle.

Wouter Plomp, Netherlands’ Ambassador to Pakistan, also congratulated the Green Shirts on reaching the semifinals and winning all four matches.

Stefano Pontecorvo, the NATO Senior Civilian Representative to Afghanistan cheered Pakistan’s team for 4 wins out of 4 games. He congratulated the Green Shirts on an impressive game.

The official Twitter account of the Embassy of Belgium to Pakistan also tweeted for Pakistan’s consecutive victory.
