FM Slovenia meets Speaker of Montenegro Parliament

-

28 September 2021 (TDI): Anze Logar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia met with Aleksa Becic, the Speaker of the Montenegro Parliament.
In the meeting, they talked about the interior political condition of Montenegro. The crises took place due to the boycott by one of the coalition parties of the government. The end of three decades-long rule by the Democratic Party of Socialists didn’t even cultivate the way for stability.
The Slovenian Foreign Minister also assured the support of Slovenia for the membership of the European Union of Montenegro. Since its independence in 2006, Montenegro has been striving for membership in the EU.
