Islamabad: July 9, 2021-(TDI) Today, European Union Ambassador to Pakistan Androulla Kaminara met Federal Minister of Religious Affairs, Noor ul Haq Qadri. Both exchange words on religious affairs.
Noor Haq Qadri briefed the EU ambassador with the ministry’s policy and performance on religious freedom and minority rights. They also discussed the growing trends of Islamophobia in the west and the effects in detail.
It is not the first time EU ambassador Androulla Kaminara had a meeting on interfaith and religious affairs. Two weeks ago, she had a meeting in Peshawar with Bishop Humphery Peters and Maulana Tayyab Qureshi. Also, in her recent trip to Lahore, she attended the one-day conference organized by Interfaith Council for Peace and Harmony and European Union Pakistan.
