Muscat, 7 October 2021 (TDI): A diplomatic engagement was held between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Sultanate of Oman. The meeting took place in Muscat. The agenda of the session was to reflect upon the bilateral ties between the two friendly states and issues of mutual interest.
Both the counterparts explored various aspects of cooperation and collaboration. According to the foreign policy of Oman, cementing bilateral relations through a mutually beneficial partnership is vital. The troubles pertaining to the regional and international developments were also touched upon, during the meeting.
The Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs of Oman, Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy represented his country. Whereas Dr. Ali Bagheri, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs was representing Iran. Other officials from both sides were also attending the session.
