New York, 24 November 2021 (TDI): Daniel del Valle and Zuzana Kostalikova co-hosted a youth debate session with Slovakia’s Ambassador to United Nations (UN) Michal Mlynar and Deputy Secretary-General United Nations Amina J. Mohammed. 

Daniel is a High Representative for Youth and Advisor to Ambassador Permanent Observer Mission of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the United Nations. He mentioned that he is proud to co-host the productive session with Ambassador Michal Mlynar.

Daniel also said that the event, young diplomats debate “Future We Want, UN We Need”, is one of the most crucial in his career. Particularly because of Deputy UNSG’s presence and her leadership and vision about the sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 2030 Agenda.

At the event Michal Mlynar, Slovakia’s Permanent Representative to the UN was also present. Later, he thanked Amina J Mohammed for accepting his invitation to the debate with young diplomats, delegates, and interns. He also thanked the co-hosts and moderators of the session, Daniel del Valle and Zuzana Kostalikova.

He highlighted the importance of youth participation in the UN. He said that in all the processes at the UN, youth’s role is important and they can make a change as an ambassador of change.
