Chinese President and Premier congratulated to Japanese new Prime Minister

Beijing, 5 October 2021 (TDI): The President and Premier of China, Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang, congratulated the newly elected Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida. 

Xi Jinping stated that the prosperity of peoples of China and Japan and the maintenance of peace and harmony in Asia greatly depends upon good-neighborly relations between China and Japan which can be maintained only if both countries follow the principles set in political documents between china and japan. 

Li Keqiang besides congratulating Kishida also suggested that the two countries should adopt policies to increase bilateral trade and welcome together the incoming 50th anniversary of standardization of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
