Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister visits Indonesian Embassy

Beijing, 23 October 2021 (TDI): The Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister, Wu Jianghao visited the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing. He visited the Indonesian Embassy to attend the National Day ceremony.

The celebration was for the 76th anniversary of Indonesian independence. The Assistant Foreign Minister also met with the Indonesian Ambassador to China Djauhari Oratmangun. He congratulated the Indonesian Ambassador on the anniversary of independence day.
Wu Jianghao said that the Covid-19 outbreak increased the level of cooperation between the two states. The top leaders of these two states have cooperated during the pandemic.
Their close cooperation has helped to control the Coronavirus and to achieve incredible results. The Indonesian Ambassador thanked Wu Jianghao for his country’s anti-pandemic help. Indonesia got approximately 90% of its total vaccines from China.
He further stated that Indonesia is ready to expand cooperation with China. The China-Indonesia partnership is increasing with mutual benefits. The two states also maintain close cooperation in international as well as in regional affairs.
China is also the biggest trading partner of Indonesia. Both countries are also working on the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The two countries look forward to enhancing their cooperation in many fields as they can.
