China’s Pavilion at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai

Dubai, 2 October 2021 (TDI): On the 1st October 2021, the People’s Republic of China opened its pavilion at World Expo in the United Arab Emirates.

The Commissioner-General of China’s pavilion, Zhang Shenfeng said that the Chinese pavilion displays the unique achievements of China in information and technology, artifacts, intelligence, unique culture and tradition, modern transportation system, and modern space exploration. 

Zhang Shenfeng said, “Due to COVID Pandemic situation the local Chinese companies and officials cannot come to organize the large-scale onsite activities but we have made an online platform for the event exchanges for them”.

He further added, “ Hopefully this grand exhibition enhances people-to-people interaction between China and Arab countries and will help to promote trade and economic exchanges and uplift the economic recovery in post-pandemic situations.”

Furthermore, the Chinese Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Ni Jian was also part of a grand exhibition and he elaborated that the Chinese pavilion showcases the technological advancements and remarkable achievements of China. And it shows the unique Chinese traditions which help the world to know better about the country.
