Beijing (TDI): China has urged the European Union to take concrete steps to advance consultations to solve EV trade issues.
China has always advocated solving trade issues through consultation and dialogue, and has made the best efforts on the consultations of price commitment with the bloc regarding the latter’s anti-subsidy investigation into China-made electric vehicles (EVs), He Yongqian, a spokesperson with Chinese Commerce Ministry said on Thursday, in response to a query regarding the progress on China-EU talks on the price commitment.
It is hoped that the EU side will take concrete steps as early as possible to jointly advance talks with the Chinese side, He said.

China and the EU have made progress in their discussions on a price commitment plan for Chinese EVs, and conversations are still ongoing, a spokesperson with China’s Ministry of Commerce said last month.
